Why this exists

It isn't the tasks — it's carrying them. The follow-ups, the decisions, the loose ends that need a sharp set of eyes while your attention is somewhere else. Perpetua is one person on the island who takes that weight off you — with the judgment to make the right call and the discretion to be trusted with it. Paid by you, answering only to you.

What you get — and what it costs
Your Right Hand
Your bandwidth back
$500/mo
monthly minimum · $150/hr

A business-owner-level problem-solver on your side for the advanced admin that eats time and attention — the things that need real judgment, run down and handled so they're off your mind, not just off a list.

  • A standing block of senior help each month — the calls, the coordination, the decisions you don't have the bandwidth to chase.
  • Judgment, not just hands — the kind of problem you'd otherwise have to solve yourself, thought through by someone who solves them for a living.
  • One trusted point of contact, on the island, who already knows your situation — so "can you just handle this?" is a text, not a project.
  • The heavier, more personal matters come in as we build trust — handled discreetly, and billed by the hour.

The point was never the hours — it's not carrying it. You hand off the thing that's sat on your list for three weeks, and it's simply done.

Keep It Running
You never think about the car
$300/mo

You get back, turn the key, and it starts — no warning lights, nothing dead, no surprises. The car you don't drive every day, kept ready and legal without a thought from you.

  • Battery kept alive — on a maintainer and checked every visit, so it turns over the day you're back, not clicks and a tow.
  • Tire pressure set every visit — held at spec and kept off the flat spots that come from sitting.
  • Fuel system treatment — stabilised and run to temperature so the fuel never goes stale and gums up.
  • Idle-car care — driven to operating temperature on a schedule; fluids kept moving.
  • Kept legal while you're away — safety inspection, registration renewal, insurance mode, parking rules, all handled.
  • A timestamped photo report every visit — odometer, battery, tire pressure, anything new.
  • Maintenance oversight — intervals tracked, work scheduled and supervised (the repair itself billed separately).
  • DMV and registration, safety-inspection handling, and the full new-to-island onboarding.

That's the whole promise: after weeks away, a clean dashboard and a first-turn start — because the battery, the tires, and the fuel never got the chance to fail.

Home Watch
Come home to no surprises · a standalone service
$1,200/mo

Your empty house, checked twice a week and documented every time — so you come home to it exactly as you left it, and if something did go wrong, your coverage still stands behind you.

  • Water caught early — the #1 way an empty house becomes a five-figure repair. Under sinks, the water heater, and any leak or damp, every visit.
  • A documented watch your insurer will honour — dated reports with photos. Most policies limit water, theft, and vandalism cover once a home sits empty ~30–60 days; a regular, documented watch is what keeps a claim payable.
  • Damp & mould held off — AC and dehumidifier verified, odours caught early — the island's real enemy in a closed-up house.
  • Storm-ready, then storm-checked — buttoned up before, walked after, so small damage gets reported before it becomes a denied claim.
  • Pests, power & intrusion — droppings or chewed seals, a tripped breaker that kills the AC, a jimmied door — caught while they're small.
  • Kept lived-in — mail and packages collected so the house never looks empty.

Twice a week is the difference between a leak you wipe up and a five-figure repair — and, just as often, between a claim your insurer pays and one they deny on a home left unwatched.

Add-ons & extra hands

Extra hands are $150 an hour, two-hour minimum — most one-off jobs run about an hour each: a wash, the pool, an errand, a wait-at-the-house for a delivery.

Hand wash & detail
Washed and detailed so it's clean the day you're back — about an hour.
$150/hr
Pool care
Kept and monitored — about an hour a visit.
$150/hr
Idle-car protection
Salt-air corrosion & rodent-intrusion program — a chewed wiring harness runs about $3,200, and island salt air is the most corrosive class there is. Added to Keep It Running.
$150/mo
Round-the-clock access
Your person reachable any hour, not only business hours. The base plans are not 24/7 — this is.
$500/mo
Terms

Billed monthly. Your Right Hand is a monthly minimum from $500 that reserves a set block of senior help; additional and one-off hours are $150, two-hour minimum. Taken on a quarterly or six-month basis — the longer term earns a preferred rate, including a reduced “away” rate for the months you're off-island. Home Watch is its own standalone service. Every arrangement is shaped to fit on a short call before anything begins.

And when the car needs the shopAuto & bike repair, too. Mobile service, maintenance, safety inspections and the DMV — picked up and delivered. Added to any plan on request.

To begin

A short call, and we take it from there.
